Ok, I admit I’m a bit hazy about the laws surrounding bailiffs, but to be fair I never had to swot up on this stuff. But time for the fun part. I thought it was somewhat amusing anyhow, but I’m not Psycho’s biggest fan to put it mildly. Before Christmas when he was visiting his son in America, the dreaded bailiffs returned to the wool shop and took all the stock and stuff. Good on ‘em. They took the police with them too. Maybe to stop Psycho or The Canadian ringing them? But never mind. Unfortunately he got his tools of the trade (i.e. sewing machines and stuff) back. Admittedly they shouldn’t have taken those. However, as king of pettiness, Psycho’s taken the bailiffs to court for taking his stock without showing appropriate documentation or something. Poor Psycho though, he couldn’t get his stock back as the bailiffs had already sold it. Haha. He plans to take them to court for further offences too, but I have no idea what else the bailiffs have done. Another laugh though comes from the fact that Psycho’s a bit short of money. His shop has no stock to sell, and he had already jacked in the ‘chef’ job he had at that old people’s home, as The Canadian was kicked out of the UK. I’m sure he’ll find a way out of this mess, unfortunately.
Anyhow, the moral of this lesson is that two years of refusal to pay council tax for your shop does not result in an automatic win. It results in years of hassle from bailiffs, and court cases and stuff. Oh, and having your shop’s stock taken. Though if he does eventually win, it would set a precedent wouldn’t it? He never won the parking fines fight though. Instead the bailiffs took the cars. Would that make it score 3 to them then? All I know is that Psycho is yet to triumph. Oh how I look forward to his failure with this one.
Bitter? Moi? Just a tad twisted perhaps.
Oh, and while he’s penniless, he can’t sign on either. If he did, The Canadian wouldn’t be able to get back into the country. Hmm, perhaps she’d be better off staying in Canada. I think I’d rather be in Canada than with Psycho. I am terribly biased though of course. Perhaps you just have to get to know him? Hmmm.
